Valle is an unincorporated small community in Coconino County, Arizona. It is located on State Route AZ-64, at the intersection of U.S. Route 180. It is located approximately halfway between Grand Canyon south rim and Williams on AZ-64. The majority tourists to Grand Canyon come from Williams direction by highway AZ-64, some tourists will stop by Valle. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Valle to either Grand Canyon south rim or Williams, Arizona.
The small community, Valle, does have some tourists attractions. The Valle Airport, the Planes of Fame Air Museum, and Flintstones Bedrock City are located in Valle. There are two main gas stations, several gift shops, and a small post office in Valle, Arizona. There is also a 100 rooms hotel, Grand Canyon Inn there.
Flintstones Bedrock City
Flintstones Bedrock City in Valle, Arizona has been entertaining children and adults since 1972. It is the second Bedrock City in the US. The first Bedrock City is in Custer, South Dakota which opened in 1966.
Although Flintstones Bedrock City is a small park, it is a great attraction for many Flintstones fans. Some adult visitors today can still remember the excitement when they first visited the park as children 30 years ago. Watching those old cartoons at the theater brought back many happy memories for the adult visitors who revisited the park.
Included therein are the homes of Fred and Wilma and Barney and Betty, the general store, the police station, the jail, the post office, the movie house (which plays old "Flintstones" episodes), the gas station, the beauty parlor, and many other Bedrock hot spots. Apart from the numerous photo-ops, the park also includes a tour of the Bedrock volcano aboard a Flintstones train. Kids can climb on a giant dinosaur and slide down his tail.
Flintstones Bedrock City Theme Park Entrance Fee is only $5.00. Summer Hours: 6 am - Sunset, Winter Hours: 7 am -Sunset.
The Bedrock City also has a Campground and RV Park, a restaurant, Fred's Diner and a gift shop.

The Planes of Fame Air Museum
The Planes of Fame - Grand Canyon Valle facility contains a sizable collection of very rare and one-of-a-kind classic aircraft. From a Messerschmitt Me-109G-10/U4 to a flyable Douglas AD-4N Skyraider, an Aichi D3A2 Val (BT-15 Conversion), Douglas RB-26C Invader, Ford 5-AT Trimotor, Grumman J2F-6 Duck, Lockeed T-33 Shooting Star, Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-15, Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka 11, and many more!
One of the main stars at the Planes of Fame - Grand Canyon facility was the personal transport plane for General Douglas Macarthur, a Lockheed C-121A Constellation named 'Bataan' by the General himself.
The Planes of Fame Air Museum opens 9AM-5PM EVERYDAY (CLOSED THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS DAY).
